Our family owned business entered the Electrical Industry in South Australia in 1983.

Direct Electrical - designs, constructs, installs, services, maintains, repairs

New installations - Automation and Irrigation

We have designed and constructed automated systems to control temperature, watering schedules and humidity in greenhouses. One such project for Freshway Farms won Direct Electrical a state award with the National Electrical and Communication Association (NECA) in 2001. Later that year the national award was presented to our company in Sydney.

We supply and install motor starters in situations where pumps are required for auto start and /or standard manual start.

Together with Virginia Irrigation we designed and constructed the irrigation starters and controls for the Adelaide Zoo pump control room to grow bamboo for the new Panadas who arrived from China.

Security Systems

We design and install security systems monitored and non-monitored. Voice and video intercoms, survelliance cameras and security lighting are available.

Lighting - Permanent and Occassional

 - We work closely with lighting consultants in designing and installing lighting for sporting venues and clubs.

 - We are frequently called on to install temporary power and lighting for both indoor and outdoor festivals. We hire and install many power sit boxes.

No job is too big or too small or too routine. We'll be there to repair the washing machine, install the airconditioning, (split systems or other), and test tag compliance for domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural settings.
